PIPELINE OPERATOR QUALIFICATION PROGRAM |
 |
The Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations require operator's of pipelines
to ensure they have a qualified workforce in place. Individuals performing covered
tasks on natural gas or hazardous liquids pipelines must be qualified according
to the Operator Qualification ruling from the DOT (ref. 49 CFR 192 Subpart N; 49
CFR 195 Subpart G) This ruling includes contract personnel acting as an operator's
representative (third party inspectors.)
The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) has developed
a standardized program, “Pipeline Training and Assessment Program” (PTAP)
to evaluate the journey level knowledge and skills of experienced workers. RMA Academy
will utilize NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Process (NCACP)
by written exam to evaluate the technician level knowledge and skills of personnel.
Response Management Associates is an NCCER Certified Assessment Administrator. Any
questions regarding the Pipeline Operator Qualification Program or for a quote please
